  12. I have just bought a Newcom 28.8k ifx modem, it has no problems with faxing 
  13. but will not hold a connection with my internet provider for more than 15mins. 
  14. If I then try to reconnect again, it lasts for progressively shorter times 
  15. until it crashes immediately on about the 5th go. The Rockwell ROM chip is 
  16. from Sept/95.

  18. I'm currently using Win 3.1 and AT&F1&C1&D2 as the ini string. Haven't got a 
  19. clue why it doesn't work as I'm new to this game.

  21. Any ideas solutions welcome before I bin it and buy a new one!
